As for the changes, the 2004 is a different font and graphic style than the 2005, the 05's were redesigned to look like the CTS-V guages, except without the DIC in the center of the tach and speedo. Remove 2x 7mm screws, one under the gas gauge and 1 under the engine temp or clock (depending on what year your car is.)
